Possible Move…

image1818079978.jpgI’m thinking about migrating to Squarespace. I dig WordPress and MediaTemple, but I don’t do the same stuff on the web anymore. For what I want, Squarespace may be easier and cheaper! (Do something fabulous for both of us: click the Squarespace link and sign up! Free 14 day no-catch, no-risk trial… seriously, nothing to lose but two minutes — but a heckuva-lot to gain!)

Consolidation is harder than I thought it would be. It’s all-too-easy to accumulate way-too-much stuff online… too much junk. It’s too hard to keep track of and update.

Most of my writing has been offline, on paper with ink — and I like it like that. That said, I think blogging still has its merits, and that’s why I’ve been working on putting together all-new content for a Bradtastic “rerelease” of sorts…

Much has changed across 2008 and 2009. The world has changed. I’ve changed. How about you?

Follow my tumblr, Antipresto, and my Twitter to stay updated and in-touch. And if you really want to make me happy (and you really want me to like you), you could always send me a gift from my Wishlist! (Starting at just $5.00 USD!)

Lastly, if you’re around the Bay Area, you might want to find out more about my practical combat and self-defense training.

Mobile momento

I thought that it might be fun to setup a blog for “mobile musings” — something iPhone-optimized and composed/edited (almost) entirely from the iPhone/iPod touch.

Apple’s mobile-Safari displays emojis, Japanese Keyboard emoticons.

They’re nifty… and cute — but limited to two device types, one OS type. And then there’s content, layout and theme. Because the touch keyboard is awkward and sometimes-sluggish, long entries aren’t easy to compose. A template designed for handhelds won’t display properly on a large screen. My mobile ramblings are tangential, and are likely interesting to my close friends and followers only.

I’m fond of my low-res photography, too. I’ve also got some iPhone art to share, made with the “Brushes” app.

I really wish I could get Canteo Classeur notebooks. If you find them for me, you’ll be my top-tier hero. Second-tier available for anyone capable of sending me some medium size, lined and unlined Leuchtturm 1917 notebooks.

I have interesting stuff to share later. Until then…
