Ink Blogging — Tablet PC Posts at Superfluous!

I’ve posted two new inkblog posts, handwritten in my new unique style.

If you haven’t already, please check it out!

The Blog, Bradtastic

There’s a new post at SuperFLOO.US called “Got Nugget? Part One” — I do hope that you check it out. Not many people know about my new blog… but that’s okay with me at the moment. I’m still trying to figure out what it is and what I’m going to do with Bradtastic Premier and “the brand.”

Some photos from my birthday trip will post soon at Superfluous. I’ll first need to get Stephanie to sync her camera and upload the photos for minor editing (size — high-MP cameras natively take images way too big for the web… or screens, rather!)

If you haven’t yet been to my new personal blog, please take a moment to glance over the back-entries, and a few moments to leave a comment or two (or five). And if you haven’t sent me anything for my birthday, well, there’s a convenient little Amazon Wishlist thing there!

I’m also looking to share friends’ artwork and music, so let me know if you’re looking for extra exposure.

Hope to hear from you!

Superfloo.us (superfluous), Personal Blog!

The time has arrived!

My newly-created “personal blog” is up, running… incomplete, yes… but I have created my “pilot” post. Hopefully it serves me (and us all!) well.

http://superfloo.us — bookmark it, subscribe to it, do what you do. That’s where my posting is going to happen… “personal” posts, anyway.

I’m not completely sure how and when this site will transition. However, I’m comfortable with having my new blog at Squarespace, and I’m confident that now, because the topics/content is more defined and the audience is likely more narrow, posting frequency will increase. I’ve written many entries that haven’t seen cyber-light because I didn’t have a “proper” place to put ‘em. This blog just isn’t the place for some things.

Also: The “BradLoves Project” exists… it’s out there. If you’re interested it, go there or let me know. Because I’m playing MTG again and am apparently pretty-good at it, I’m writing about the game, too. More on that later.

For now, please check out “Superfluous” and the sub-1000 word first entry there. Until next time… take care.

Possible Move…

image1818079978.jpgI’m thinking about migrating to Squarespace. I dig WordPress and MediaTemple, but I don’t do the same stuff on the web anymore. For what I want, Squarespace may be easier and cheaper! (Do something fabulous for both of us: click the Squarespace link and sign up! Free 14 day no-catch, no-risk trial… seriously, nothing to lose but two minutes — but a heckuva-lot to gain!)

Consolidation is harder than I thought it would be. It’s all-too-easy to accumulate way-too-much stuff online… too much junk. It’s too hard to keep track of and update.

Most of my writing has been offline, on paper with ink — and I like it like that. That said, I think blogging still has its merits, and that’s why I’ve been working on putting together all-new content for a Bradtastic “rerelease” of sorts…

Much has changed across 2008 and 2009. The world has changed. I’ve changed. How about you?

Follow my tumblr, Antipresto, and my Twitter to stay updated and in-touch. And if you really want to make me happy (and you really want me to like you), you could always send me a gift from my Wishlist! (Starting at just $5.00 USD!)

Lastly, if you’re around the Bay Area, you might want to find out more about my practical combat and self-defense training.

A Whole Lot of Ouchie.

Blogging is a nice, efficient, quick and easy way to get some writing done — published, “out there,” available to the masses. It has its limitations, however… most annoying, needing a computer of some kind for efficient blogging. Yes, I can update from the iPhone/iTouch or other handhelds without too-badly straining thumbs, but the process is slow. Slower, anyway, slower than handwriting.

Being on the computer hasn’t been so easy for me recently; I haven’t been feeling well, I haven’t been able to sit up and use the computer very much. Long story short — nasty medication side-effects messed me up. Pretty bad.

I haven’t been able to write as much as I’d like; insofar as that effects my abilities I’m not sure, but my spurts feel rather cyclic.

Sometimes there’s so much on my mind, it seems incomprehensible that I’d ever have another moment staring at an empty page or empty lines without remedy. Hours pass as I struggle to maintain composure — my shoulder is agonizing and my body is shaking in pain and anguish. I want to stop writing… I need to stop writing… however, I can’t. I can’t put my pen down; there’s too much on my mind, and I think to myself, “what if I forget something later?” I feel like my day should contain more than twenty-four hours and I curse my pain problem and feel drowsy from the meds. Many hours pass, and eventually, my concentration breaks and I close my eyes for just a moment longer than a blink… I momentarily doze off mid-sentence, followed by a jolt — a startling sensation reminiscent of a myoclonic spasm. I am forced to quit, say to myself “I’m done,” and rest. Dozens of previously blank, untouched pages are now filled with fragments of me. Almost Bradtastic, indeed.
